I don't even know what to do. I feel like quitting my job and just going south. I feel like our country will never be the same again. I feel like our brother and sister americans are dying in the streets and that mayhem and madness is taking over. New Orleans is burning and drowning at the same time.

The numb feeling I had during 9/11 was nothing like this. As Rush Limbaugh makes this a race war and spreads hate and politics during this tragic time, I invite all of us to realize we are all in the same boat. People are hurting, displaced and dying.

People couldn't get out. Some people could. Race has nothing to do with it.
